New Instant Reward Program at Cake Poker
December 10, 2009
Cake Poker is kicking off a simple, new incentive program to encourage player loyalty, which offers 50 levels of instant online poker rewards. Gold Stacks Rewards are essentially an expansion of Cake Poker’s existing Gold Chips reward program, and don’t require any extra effort on the part of Cake Poker’s players.
Playing real money ring and tournament tables at Cake Poker results in accumulating Frequent Player Points, which in turn earns players Gold Chips. The Gold Chips can be used to buy into tournaments, or they can be traded for merchandise, such as electronics and other items in the Cake Store. The new Gold Stacks program is intended to reward Cake’s regular players for earning those Gold Chips.
Every Gold Chip a player earns goes into their current Gold Stack. Once the player has completed the required number of stacks, they move up to the next level. The number of stacks to complete a level, and coins to make a full stack is dependent upon that player’s current Gold Stack level.
Cake Poker issues the Gold Stack rewards instantly, which is what makes the incentive program so simple. Players aren’t required to do anything but keep on playing as usual. Gold Stacks completed at lower levels are rewarded with extra Gold Chips and at higher levels with prizes such as pending bonuses and cash which is automatically credited to the players account. There are a total of fifty Gold Stacks levels, and everyone starts off at level one.
There is no time limit for completing a stack, though Cake Poker does reward speedy stacking with Turbo and Super Turbo rewards. Also, players at levels 1 through 10 don’t have to worry about losing their level if they can’t get to Cake Poker’s online poker tournaments for a while, but players who have reached Gold Stack level 11 or higher are required to earn at least three Gold Coins over the course of two consecutive months or be dropped back to level 10. However, regular players at Cake Poker shouldn’t have any trouble meeting those terms.
