Deepstacks Live and PokerRoad Establish Partnership
March 30, 2010
In a move that further solidified their position in the world of Poker, DeepStacks Live and PokerRoad have announced in a press release that they will be establishing a solid partnership. Deepstacks Live and DeepStacks University will have PokerRoad as their official media partner, creating a mutually beneficial plan to boost both company’s popularity and sales.
What’s in it for them?
Basically, what Deepstacks will get from PokerRoad is recognition from all of its outlets, from radio programs to twitter feeds and, of course, on the website of PokerRoad itself. Also, in PokerRoad Radio, a show hosted by Joe Stapleton and Joe Sebok, the Deepstacks Live Sessions at the Commerce Casino this coming Saturday will be broadcasted. This really does bode well for Deepstacks because PokerRoad has been experiencing quite a revolution in the world of poker these past few years. Ratings are steadily rising, especially because of Sebok’s influence. Deepstacks has truly done the right thing by allying itself with PokerRoad and Sebok. It’s often said that whatever PokerRoad touches turns to gold.
Indeed, Sebok seems to have a rather good eye on seeing what works and what sells in the world of Poker. Sure enough, he must have seen something great in DeepStacks to decide on this alliance.
Furthermore, a lot of fans turn to PokerRoad if they want to know what’s “cool” in the world of poker. Founder and host, Joe Sebok has even said that there is nothing ‘cooler than a poker training program based on military strategy’, thus their alliance with Deepstacks. Those who are curious about Deepstacks will find that it has one of the most innovative training strategies for poker. Instructors use a scenario-based training method and fully customizable strategies. They don’t encourage you to stick to a rigid if-x-then-y strategy in Deepstacks. In fact, you’ll find that they have one of the most flexible techniques ever, their plays suited for both cash games and tournament games. Of course, to find out, you’ll have to sign up with them.
Some trainers in Deepstacks include Mike “The Mouth” Matusow, Tristan “Cre8ive” Wade, and Justin “Boosted J” Smith. Students have given very positive reviews on the site and are very vocal in recommending the site.
What’s in it for us?
Well, obviously, players aren’t going to be included in the monetary gains part of the bargain. But, at least, with this development, we can safely say that the game’s going stronger than ever. More and more people are going to be drawn to the felt and the competition’s going to get even stiffer. Some are saying that the ‘Golden Age’ of Poker is over. But with the way things are going right now, it might have just begun.
